“Karpiel and Pinkas join the SALOMON Project ? Yes it’s true as it turned out there’s a lot of things going on the Polish freeski scene lately. A couple weeks ago You could read on the Szczepan Karpiel’s website that he changed the ski sponsor and now we got an official info that he allready left 4 of his sponsors and that his team mate will be now a street rail killer from Wisla – Piotr Pinkas. How that all happened ? Here’s the answer.

Amer Sport Poland the official distributor of SALOMON outerwear and hardwear in Poland proposed those two talented riders an offer they couldn’t resist. Together with another Salomon International Rider Marek Doniec

they will work on the project which will include official website, blog, videoblog maybe even events and internet competitions where You can win SALOMON gear. They do it all to promote and spread the word about freeskiing in whole East European countries and so You could know what are those guys up to.

Piotr Pinkas – some of You guys who live near Poland might know this guy from his amazing street rail skills and last PBP trip update at newschoolers.com when he was repping street rails with Charles Gagnier around Katowice. He’s the one that never stops exploring the streets of Poland to look for some hardcore and as many kinky rails as possible. He ain’t a competetive guy so You probably won’t see him on most of the rail contests. He rather film and do shots and just show them through the time of the whole season. Now You’ll be able to see Piotrek on his Salomon Suspect 176 skis same as Salomon Outerwear and poles.

Szczepan Karpiel – You might know this guy as a really active skier at newschoolers.com. Like we wrote before Szczepan just quit four of his main sponsors just to sign up the deal with Salomon and be the part of this cool project. What convinced him? Hard working team, friends and probbly the trips those guys are gonna look into together. He’s a young allaround skier who just likes rails as much as kickers. He seriously thinks about learning a lilt bit how to ride in pipe but these are some of the future plans for him. Now You can check Szczepan reppin park near You with this Salomon Dumont Pro 176 skis on his feet same as Salomon boots, Outerwear and poles. Just as a remind Szczepan used to ride for Avalaan, Fulltilt, Pow gloves and Majesty.

So what and when can You expect any infos about them? Marek, Szczepan and Piotrek just got the permission from the Salomon headquater to use www.salomonfreeski.com/pl official website and put all their stuff out there. You’ll find links to their blogs, websites, videos and general ideas they work on.
